• When not treating patients, Liz conducts presentations to other professionals advocating for the OT profession, and providing education on topics related to deficit identification, sensory processing, and improving family/patient outcomes using communication

Liz enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, two sons, and daughter. When not hanging out at the clinic, Liz and her family enjoy being outside, riding bikes, and gardening!

Katie enjoys yearly trips to visit family in the Netherlands, skiing trips with her family, hiking in the local mountains, cycling and reading. She spends a great deal of her time exploring the outdoors and loves to bake!

• Received her Master’s in 2014 from California State University, Northridge in California, CA. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed by the state of California in Speech-Language Pathology

• Hillary has numerous years of experience in a variety of pediatric settings including: preschools, elementary schools, and private practice. She has been a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary assessment team, as well as planned and implemented a multidisciplinary “Parent and Me” speech-language development program

• Hillary has completed the SCERTS training. She believes that social communication and emotional regulation go hand-in-hand, and she is passionate about empowering families by giving them the knowledge and tools to facilitate and encourage their child’s communication abilities

When Hillary is not working, she spends her time playing with her three children, reading, going to concerts, hiking, and traveling

• Trained in PROMPT and Hanen approaches, and has developed clinical experience supporting a range of communication needs

• Nicole’s professional interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), natural language acquisition, speech sound disorders, social communication, and parent coaching

• Experience implementing child-led, play-based therapy and values collaboration with families to support meaningful, functional communication outcomes across everyday environments

• Nicole is committed to empowering caregivers with the knowledge and tools necessary to support carryover beyond therapy sessions. She emphasizes individualized, creative care plans that are responsive to each family’s unique needs and priorities. She is also deeply committed to promoting equity and access to communication, and believes that all individuals deserve the opportunity to express their needs and engage with the world around them

As well as outlining best practices to collaborate with a language interpreter

• Experienced university educator and clinical supervisor, having taught graduate and undergraduate SLP courses at multiple universities, including courses in language disorders, bilingualism, cultural diversity, assessment, literacy, autism, research methods, and clinical practice

• Karolyn received her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from California State University San Marcos and is currently a graduate student in Communication Disorders at Emerson College

• Her professional interests include early intervention, school-aged language and literacy, and family-centered care

• Karolyn is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for children and their families, using neurodiversity-affirming, play-based, and child-led approaches to support meaningful communication

• Sandra earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona before discovering her passion for the field of speech-language pathology

• She completed the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program at Cerritos College

• She earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College

• With over nine years of experience working with children in school-based and pediatric settings, Sandra has supported children with a wide range of communication needs, including those with mild, moderate, and severe autism spectrum disorder. She is passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel confident, motivated, and excited to communicate while partnering with families to help each child reach their full potential

Outside of speech-language pathology, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, camping, traveling, riding her bike along the beach, and discovering new restaurants. She enjoys attending Dodgers and Rams games with her husband and enjoys spending time outdoors whenever she can

• Gerardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Cal Poly Pomona

• Gerardo’s growing passion for the field of speech-language pathology led him to earn a degree in 2024 at Pasadena City College, and he currently works as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with the Glendora Unified School District

• Gerardo brings more than ten years of educational experience, specializing in co-teaching at schools across Los Angeles County and the San Francisco area

• Among his most recent experience is working with students with mild, moderate, and severe autism

• Gerardo hopes to continue his education in order to one day become a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
