We were a little nervous about starting telehealth due to Covid but she still made it work and has been very helpful. “Wonderkind is WONDERFUL! My now 2 (almost 3) year old has been with Wonderkind for almost a year. We worked with Melody for a few months and she was amazing. We are teaching our son to be bilingual with both English and Spanish. Melody did her best and I helped to translate when she couldn't. It was a great learning experience for myself because it's something I get to also join my son to learn. We then were helped by another OT, Marissa. We've been with her since the start of the pandemic. I was concerned at first with Telehealth and super apprehensive. Marissa made the transition go smoothly. She communicates SO well through the sessions online/ in clinic. At the time, I had a 4-month old baby; Marissa was super understanding and patient with me via online. It was like a great team! We came to the clinic in July and have great confidence being at Wonderkind. Marissa explained the procedures and the clinic’s measures to make it safe for everyone. Communication is great between the office staff. The location is fun, bright, so many swings, and clean. Everyone at the location is so nice too, super welcoming and you get familiar with them. There's plenty of parking too. I feel super confident and safe brining my little guy to Wonderkind. Marissa goes above and beyond, she's so patient with my kid. She helps me understand how I can help my son and reasons behind activity. She helped me understand how I can help my son when he's having trouble soothing himself and tricks to help him (and even myself)”

“Liz and Melody at Wonderkind were fantastic with my son, Logan! - My nonverbal Autism toddler. Both are great professionals! Both of them are very interactive with my him for the full hour. We met Liz long before she opened her own clinic, my then 2-year old son, was and still is very selective with his therapist. If he didn't "click" with the therapist he was quick to wave bye and walk them to the front door for them to leave, but he was attracted to her right away, which surprised me A LOT! Melody took over for Liz as she started getting busier in opening her clinic, and of course Logan welcomes her with open arms! One of the best highlights was when Melody incorporated in his scheduled hour (before Covid-19) brushing his teeth (Logan never allowed me to brush his teeth), but wow within a couple of sessions she showed me and guided me on how to approach my son and look at us now, I get a full 3 mins when I brush his teeth. No more fighting, kicking, biting and having to pin him down on the floor! I highly recommend Wonderkind!”

“If you are reading this review you are potentially a parent with a child with special needs. And, with that said I'm sure you, like me, are looking for the very best to provide your child with a fighting chance. Our daughter undergoes several different therapies, one of which is OT that she receives from Wonderkind. Wonderkind is a family, where their therapist, staff and director treat us like their very own. My husband and I are full time employees with 4 other children and our schedule was a difficult one to accommodate. But, Wonderkind did EVERYTHING to ensure they were able to provide our family with what we needed. Even more so, their therapists, ours is Melody, are exceptional. Her work shows she is truly passionate and educated about her line of work. At each session she educates us in what she sees our daughter needs to work on, she puts a plan in place and each week you see her work toward the goals she set forth. The toys/equipment she brings are amazing. She puts so much thought into the activities she brings and you see the results. She even goes as far as helping us identify toys or equipment that we could use to continue the exercises at home or on the road. Our daughter has built the strongest relationship with her and we have seen nothing but results. I know where your heart is and if you’re worried about the therapists or this company, don't be. They will approach you and treat you like one of their own.”

“Liz is patient, loving, dedicated and awesome. She worked with our son for about 3 years, from the time he was 8-months old. He has an overall developmental delay and sensory concerns, especially with food. Liz always knew just how far to push him during his sessions. She is observant to his needs and always has creative ideas on how to help him overcome those challenges. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, reassure me and come up a plan to address those concerns.

Today my son is walking, talking, jumping, using a spoon, drinking from a straw and open cup and learning how to dress himself. It is amazing to see how my son who at 15 months couldn't sit up in a shopping cart now run down the aisles at Target. At one time he would only drink water and now drinks milk, orange juice and some smoothies. I am so thankful to Liz for all her work with my son.”
